Get Ready with Me Before Departure
Visas:
If you hold a U.S. passport, you are eligible to enter the UK for approximately six months. However, if you are planning to stay in Europe for more than six months, applying for jobs, you are required to apply for the Tier 4 Visa. Plus, you will also receive an offer letter from the university you are studying abroad into and that will allow you to go through the immigration and customs as a student visitor.
Affordable Flights:
As soon as I got accepted to study abroad in London, England for Fall 2018. I began on my research for flights that are affordable. I've heard about this app/online website called "StudentUniverse" through one of my good friends, who also did study abroad in London. StudentUniverse offers student discounts, which I found it really great! I got to save a lot of money through them, so I definitely recommend the app/online website to book for your flights.
August 10, 2018 - Preparation:
It is officially one more month until I head to London, England! At this time, I have already list down everything I need to bring with me, so I don't forget anything important. I am super excited to embark on this new opportunity and be able to experience a lot of things I haven't done before. However, I am a little scared and nervous at the same time, especially since I am flying by myself for the very first time. But, I know it is normal to feel scared and be nervous, so always trust yourself that you can do it!
